This is an exciting opportunity for a Semi Senior Data Scientist / AI Engineer with strong experience in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, looking to work on challenging international projects and contribute to the development of data-driven products and solutions.

Position Overview

The Data Scientist / AI Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing data science and artificial intelligence solutions across a variety of business and technology initiatives.

The role requires a hands-on professional with solid technical foundations in machine learning, data analysis, model development, and AI technologies, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

Data Science & Machine Learning

• Develop and implement machine learning models to solve complex business and technical problems.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and optimization.
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy, scalability, and reliability.
• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to support data-driven decision making.

Artificial Intelligence & Generative AI

• Design and develop AI-powered solutions for real-world business applications.
• Work with modern AI and Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Develop and optimize AI workflows, APIs, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Explore and implement techniques such as prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Data Engineering & Processing

• Work with structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.
• Build and maintain data pipelines required for machine learning and AI applications.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, availability, and scalability.
• Integrate data and AI solutions with existing platforms, APIs, and cloud environments.

Model Deployment & MLOps

• Collaborate on the deployment of machine learning and AI models into production environments.
• Monitor model performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support the implementation of reproducible and scalable ML workflows.
• Apply software engineering best practices to data science and AI development.

Collaboration & Business Impact

• Work closely with software engineers, data engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data and AI solutions.
• Communicate technical findings and model results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data and AI practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience developing and deploying AI or machine learning solutions.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience working with APIs, data pipelines, and production-oriented environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in international and distributed teams.
• Advanced English communication skills.
